Agility Robotics announced Digit 5 on 15 September 2026 as a humanoid for safe work beside people, without physical barriers. According to the manufacturer it has a 23 kg (50 lb) payload, 40 percent more than its predecessor, a reach up to 2.2 m and a weight of 129 kg (284 lb) at 1.81 m tall. A new battery gives 90 minutes of use and charges in 9 minutes, making more than 20 hours of work per day possible. A new leg design with cycloidal actuators is intended for repeated lifting. Agility reports more than 300 million dollars of multi-year orders and expects early access in the first half of 2027. The existing Digit is already in the guide; Digit 5 is not yet regularly available.
